Project Overview

Corina Monroe is a 2020 Dental Hygiene graduate currently practicing in Savannah, GA. She started out working at the front desk of a dental office before progressing into the role of a Dental and Orthodontic Assistant and is now a Registered Dental Hygienist. After completing her BSDH, she aims to use her degree and her social media presence to continue educating the general public and other dental professionals about best practices for dental health and hygiene. 

As an RDH, Corina has grown an astonishing following of over 2.5 million on TikTok and 130,000 on Instagram by educating people about dentistry and sharing tips and tricks on having an overall healthy mouth and body. She enjoys networking and continuing education courses, as she believes the future in dentistry is always changing. 

The Problem

Corina sought out Otter PR to help generate press coverage to further build her online authority. This would not only help her grow her social media following, but also establish herself as a young, emerging thought leader in the dental field. She also expressed concern about the potential threat of online “trolls” and others seeking to impersonate her, as this could potentially lead to her TikTok and Instagram accounts receiving bans.
