A Little About Myself
Background:
Pilar graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in English, as well as a master’s degree in media and journalism. She also played on the Kent State women’s lacrosse team during her time as an undergrad and was a graduate assistant for Kent State’s athletic marketing department while earning her master’s.
Pilar’s expertise in marketing, client communication, and developing creative strategies to quickly resolve issues make her a strong addition to our team here at Otter PR. As part of the Raft, her ability to create and foster meaningful, lifelong relationships with key media stakeholders helps her clients maximize their coverage and brand presence to exceed their PR goals.

Pilar is incredibly passionate about health and wellness and loves working with clients who are looking to grow their personal and professional brands within that space. She also greatly enjoys working with clients in the lifestyle industry.
Otter Things to Know:
Pilar was born and raised in Woodstock, Georgia until she moved to Ohio for college. She currently lives in Saint Petersburg, Florida.
Pilar is a huge proponent of anything fitness related. She also loves to travel, spend time outside (especially if it’s at the beach!), and play with her pet cat, Oliver.
