A Little About Myself
Background:
Kattie is a full-time writer based in Orlando. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from FIU and her master’s in English Literature from Mercy College.
Kattie has worked as a freelance writer/editor and social media manager since 2008. While working as a freelancer, she taught high school English for 10 years until she took a position as a part-time English professor at Valencia College. As of 2021, she had dedicated her time to working as a professor and even started her own marketing business which she sold within one year.
Favorite client types:
Kattie loves telling people’s stories! She enjoys working with all kinds of clients, but especially those who need help conveying their message to a broader audience through media. Offering guidance and being able to write for them in this way is what inspires her to put 110% into every piece of content she creates.
Otter Things to Know:
As a college professor, mother of 4, self-proclaimed foodie, writer, reader, teacher, and yogi, Kattie likes to keep busy. She also loves to read, exercise, hike, and spend time with her family every weekend!
