Hi, I'm Dave

Dave was born in Massachusetts and grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He’s a proud veteran of the US Navy and a graduate of the University of South Florida, where he received his degree in mass communications.

 

Prior to working with Otter PR, Dave worked in radio broadcasting as a DJ, traffic reporter, and news anchor for over 20 years at several stations in the Tampa Bay area, most recently for NewsRadio WFLA. He has also been involved in media sales with national media organizations, including Bell South/AT&T, iHeartMedia, CBS Radio, Cox Media Group, and Westwood One.

 

Dave moved into the PR field in 2018 with a major emphasis on achieving substantial radio, television, and podcast interviews for his clients. Since joining Otter PR, he has successfully helped dozens of clients get featured in top-tier media outlets, including ABC Radio, Bloomberg Radio, Forbes, Men’s Health, MSN, Newsweek, Psychology Today, Yahoo!, and more. Along with these successes, Dave’s efforts have also helped one of his client’s obtain their ultimate PR dream goal — a multi-million dollar acquisition!

 

 

Dave enjoys working with a wide variety of clients, and never shies away from learning the ins and outs of a new industry or market to help them accomplish their media and PR goals in the ever-changing fields of AI, politics, sports, and real estate. As a US Navy veteran, Dave is also especially fond of assisting clients who help address veterans’ issues, including veterans’ health and wellness, medicine, and mental health.

 

 

In his spare time, Dave enjoys the peacefulness of kayaking, lounging by the pool, and riding his bicycle so he can enjoy all the natural beauty Florida has to offer. He recently joined a gym in case Florida’s thunderstorms ever interrupt his ride.

 

Dave also enjoys a good stand-up comedy show and is a huge “Wheel of Fortune” fan who watches the show every night. He even recently applied to be on the show. (Fingers crossed!)
