A Little About Myself
Background:
Christina Collins started her journey in media with Spectrum Networks at Bay News 9 in Tampa, FL, as an intern while she was a student at North Carolina A&T State University. From there, she was hired on as an Associate Producer/Weekend Assignment Desk Editor and most currently as a Planning Editor. She has worked on several exciting projects, including a news series exploring Florida’s social justice stories called “Justice For All,” co-field producing the Epiphany celebration, and more.
Favorite client types:
Christina loves working with clients in the wellness, food, and beauty industries, but also has experience working with political campaigns. In 2016, she worked with the Forsyth County Democratic Headquarters as a communication assistant for the Hillary Clinton Campaign in North Carolina, as well as several other local city council campaigns. She has helped facilitate and produce interviews and segments with political candidates, officials, and law enforcement across the state of Florida. In addition, Christina has covered local races in the Tampa Bay area and across the state of Florida through Spectrum News networks.
Otter Things to Know:
When Christina isn’t busy working as an editor or publicist, she can be found teaching yoga as a certified instructor, or at home watching any one of her favorite anime shows.
