Omar Ochoa is an award-winning lawyer and city attorney in Edinburg, TX. His legal specialties include antitrust, class actions, insurance matters, securities, oil & gas, trade secrets, construction law, environmental law, qui tam, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, employment matters, private equity transactions, and breaches of contract.
Omar has also played an instrumental role in uncovering a global automotive parts conspiracy, helping car buyers recover millions of dollars. He also won Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement by a Young Lawyer from the American Antitrust Institute.
The Problem
Omar approached Otter PR seeking public relations and media coverage for himself and his law firm to establish his expertise further, discuss breaking legal topics and Latino issues. He also wanted to become a thought leader in both the legal and professional Latino communities.
Omar’s primary PR goal was to gain a handful of articles placements in English and Spanish-language national general circulation outlets, legal publications, and television. At the same time, he wished to expand his name recognition within his home state of Texas.
The Strategy
