Project Overview

Led by a team of decorated military veterans, ORE Sys, LLC, is a software company revolutionizing the gaming industry by reducing the time, cost, and experience game developers need to integrate blockchain technology into their games. Focused on bringing the gaming community together and introducing NFT ownership into the industry within the US, gamers will now truly own the gear, and developers will truly own the game. The complete ORE system is the first cross-platform ecosystem available to the blockchain community where, for the first time, gamers are truly given free rein to determine if a game or an item is worth anything.

Nick Donarski, a former professional hacker under the moniker “kizzmyanthia,” is the technical expert behind ORE Sys, LLC, and the inventor of the multi-part ecosystem that is the ORE System. Nick is a cyber security expert and has been a featured speaker at multiple cybersecurity conferences and worked for some of the biggest names in the industry. A gamer at heart, Nick’s passion is to create games for users and help developers realize their dreams. The suite of tools within the ORE Ecosystem is the means to that end.

The ORE System is a self-contained blockchain ecosystem that exploits the full potential and advantages of blockchain technology. ORE integrated all the necessary components for game developers to truly own the game and for gamers to truly own their gear. The ORE ecosystem is comprised of three components: 

1. Game development support with the ORE SDK platform.
2. NFT content delivery leveraged through the ORE Forge which sits on the BSC Blockchain and serves as the community NFT marketplace.
3. Game distribution through ORE Stealth.

The community version of the ORE SDK is offered free of charge to game developers. More importantly, aspiring game developers can integrate blockchain into their games without an understanding of BEP-20 tokens or an ERC-1155 smart contract. The ORE software does the work for them. Simply put, the ORE ecosystem was designed and built by gamers for gamers, with an edge, and is making blockchain easy and fun.

ORE Sys, LLC, has an ID@Xbox Partnership that allows them to publish to Microsoft’s XBOX games and have XBOX console users play them directly. The company will be releasing the full version of their proprietary game OsirisPROTOCOL — an online multiplayer first person shooter set in a mildly dystopian future — in the near future. The beta version has launched on The ORE System. For the first time, the gaming community will be able to utilize in-game items and purchases in OsirisPROTOCOL across other games on the ORE platform, whether developed by ORE or other developers.

The Problem

When the company first contacted Otter PR, they wanted to increase public awareness of ORE Sys, LLC. NFT and blockchain are relatively new concepts originating from the cryptocurrency market. As such, there is a certain element of distrust within the industry due not only to the volatility of the arena, but also the commercial viability of non-fungible tokens. As Nick expressed to us, NFTs were more than pieces of artwork or collectibles, but rather utility items where mainstream adoption would begin with gamers. 

The Strategy

Our strategy was simple: take a technical concept, simplify the terminology, and make it relatable to a variety of audiences and industries. We targeted traditional outlets such as crypto news sites, garnered some quick wins to begin building the media resume, and then expanded our efforts. We discussed the adoption of NFTs from not only art and video games, but to movies, music and e-books. Not only would the NFT signify ownership, it would also protect content creators and provide a protected stream of royalty revenue for each secondary sale. Moreover, the marketplace would justify the value of each item or NFT based on what they were willing to pay for it. For example, when individuals sell used CD’s at garage sales, the artist does not receive any royalty from that secondary sale, whether the sale was for less than the original cost or more than the original cost because the CD, for whatever reason, rose in value. With secondary sales of NFTs, each transfer of ownership would ensure the content creator received his or her royalty.

Business Impact (results)

As we simplified the concepts, our audience of interested parties grew both from the desire to learn more about NFTs as well as to understand the various applications and utilities these tokens afforded. We leveraged the media resume being crafted for ORE and Nick to attract interest from top-tier publications where Nick was sourced as an expert in the NFT arena, becoming profiled as “the celebrity/rockstar NFT guy.” Nick was featured in US News & World Report, Computer World, GameSpace, E-Crypto News, Techbullion, and Disrupt Magazine, as well as quoted by TechTarget about the use of NFT’s in the Metaverse, appeared on What the Truck, and interviewed by Dave Vellante of Silicon Angle on The Cube.

As a result of our efforts, ORE Sys, LLC, has seen its name recognition grow, its community base grow, its social media presence expand, and excitement has increased over the anticipated release of the full version of OsirisPROTOCOL.
