Project Overview
MediGuru is a software platform that enables a healthcare system, a provider network, or a payer network to set up a customized branded telemedicine solution as part of their virtual care practice. MediGuru enables organizations to implement an advanced, integrated clinical workflow. This, in turn, integrates with EMR, while providing high-quality medical care with the help of telemedicine.
MediGuru has also recently created an artificial intelligence integration to their platform that allows for the collecting of patients’ personal information while ensuring HIPAA compliance. As a result, their platform has created an advanced clinical workflow for healthcare providers and systems, leading to a drastic improvement in the patient experience.
The Problem
The overall delivery of patient care in a hybrid manner that utilizes artificial intelligence and automation solves a broken and outdated healthcare system by building healthcare solutions for organizations. MediGuru makes healthcare solutions for organizations custom-made according to an organization’s specific needs.
Upon approaching Otter PR, our team recognized early in our partnership with MediGuru that many prospective clients for the company perceived it as little more than a telehealth organization. Rather than focusing on generating greater sales volumes, MediGuru’s leadership team wanted to refocus its brand image and digital presence to help establish themselves as thought leaders in not only the healthcare industry, but the specific niches of healthcare technology and consulting.
The Strategy
Due to his extensive background and expertise, we immediately opted to utilize Dr. Kestner as the company’s voice. This allowed for us to establish MediGuru as a consulting organization within the healthcare industry that possessed the ability to create automated and customized systems for other organizations in the sector.
We then began crafting our PR strategy and media outreach to build Dr. Kestner’s online presence as a thought leader available to speak on any and all relevant topics to the industry — be it an ongoing topic from the past or breaking medical news — primarily pitching him as available for guest articles and podcasts. Simultaneously, we generated a series of pitches and story angles to help MediGuru as a company rebrand from a telehealth organization to one focused on consulting for organizations of all kinds within healthcare.
Business Impact (results)
In response to our media campaign specific to Dr. Kestner, he expressed that he had witnessed engagement rates increase significantly on his LinkedIn articles as they are viewed increasingly more frequently by growing numbers of other industry thought leaders.
As a result of the media successes our team was able to generate for MediGuru, the company has since experienced a notable shift in both perception and recognition of their brand, which granted us opportunities to present them to organizers of several renowned healthcare conferences. Due to the interest received from this, MediGuru will be appearing at the 2022 HIMSS conference in Orlando, FL. In addition, the company was able to create an advisory board with some of the industry’s most prominent and famous minds, which has allowed them further opportunities to scale.
