Background:
Before joining Otter PR, John built a career focused on business growth, leadership, and helping entrepreneurs unlock exponential success. He has spent over 15 years in roles centered around B2B sales leadership, high-impact consulting, and supporting family-run businesses in transforming challenges into clarity and results. His approach blends strategic thinking with practical execution, empowering clients to elevate their visibility, strengthen their message, and expand their reach.
Throughout his career, John has also lived the ups and downs of entrepreneurship firsthand. From working in family business environments to coaching youth sports and launching community-centered initiatives like Capital City FC, he brings real hands-on experience to every client partnership.
Today, John serves as Otter PR’s Executive Media Consultant, with a strong emphasis on thought leadership coverage. In this role, he helps brands of all sizes capture the national spotlight and build real authority, guiding stories from strategic positioning to powerful media presence that amplifies impact and influence.

Family is John’s grounding force and his greatest joy. Outside of Otter PR, he is a father of six incredible children and the blessed partner of an amazing wife who keeps their household full of laughter and adventure. He is also the proud dog dad to two lovable pups.
Off the clock, you’ll almost always find John on — or thinking about — the soccer field. He is deeply passionate about soccer and proud to run and own Capital City FC, a youth soccer club serving over 150 players in the Capital Region of Upstate New York. Through the club, John gets to share the beautiful game with a vibrant community of young athletes, helping them grow not just as players but as leaders on and off the field.
